Rivers Unlimited River Clean Up on the Great Miami
Great Miami River Cleanup:
Sunday, August 15, 2010 at 12:00 p.m.
Join us in the cleanup of a stretch of the Great Miami River.
The Benchmark crew will be meeting at Heritage Park in Colerain Township to start the cleanup and will then move down the road towards Dravo Park, tidying up the river as we go.

The Fremont Cup

CITIZENS GREAT MIAMI RIVER WATER QUALITY PROJECT
Join Citizen Volunteer Water Quality Monitoring
Project on third Saturday of the month between
8:00-10:00. Become trained to collect water samples
from neighborhood streams or predesignated sites
in the Lower Great Maimi River / Whitewater watershed. Or join us at the Cincinnati Center for Field Studies to be trained to analyze all samples for pH, Conductivity, Turbidity, Nitrate, Total Phosphorus, and Fecal Coliforms. The data will be entered into the Great Miami Basin Database. These will be used to analyze water quality at an annual meeting by Michael C. Miller, Professor Emeritus, Biology, University of Cincinnati.
