Goals
1. To develop and promote a long-term plan for the protection and restoration of the GMRS.
2. To promote and facilitate public access and responsible use of the GMRS.
3. To promote and implement education projects and community outreach programs emphasizing the economic, public health, environmental and recreational benefits of protecting and improving the natural integrity of the GMRS.
4. To serve as a GMRS information resource for the Friends of the Great Miami members and public.
5. To seek formal protection for the river as a State and National Scenic River.
6. To pursue land acquisition and/or conservation easements to accomplish the foregoing purposes.
